"The Pledge" Chapter 4 Preview

I haven't posted on the blog in a while, but I could not stop laughing.  I had to post this.  For those of you that have been following The Pledge, you will so get a kick out of this:

Edward's new t-shirt.

Significance?  Let me remind you of EPOV chapter 1:

There, in the middle of the backyard, was the object of my obsession. Carlisle, in a relaxed stance that showed off his legs in a glorious pair of khaki shorts, wore a green t-shirt with a pig on it; the words, 'Bacon Anonymous' was written under it. I loved that shirt! I'd always wanted it, but all my usual online shops never had my size. I looked at Jake and he smirked at me. The knowing bastard – I should have guessed he knew Carlisle's attire. This persona was different from what I saw in Anatomy earlier. Here he seemed calm and mellow, more of what I hoped was his true self.

And yes, that is all you're getting.  LOL!  Will be posting this Friday.  I am so loving this chapter.

I'm back......

Well the muses have returned and I am able to write again. It has been crazy with having a newborn and a toddler, but I have found my groove.  So what's been going on.

Recently, I have posted Chapter 1 of The Pledge.  It is my CarlWard story that I had written for a contest back in 2011, but has taken me this long to write the follow up chapters.  I have Chapter 2 done and is being looked over with a fine tooth comb.  It will post later tonight.  The last and final chapter is currently being worked on and will post next Friday.  I thank all of you for sticking with me for this story.

Next up after The Pledge finished is A Six Foot Request.  Team Changed story arc is ready to be picked back up.  So hang with me and there will be updates in October for that.

I will be going back to my two blog posts a week: "Tattling Tuesday", where I will rec what I have read, and "Frisky Fridays", where I will rec some lemony goodness and update you on what's going on my stories.

Enjoy my readers!

Update on my writings/stories

UPDATES

Well, I'd like to say thanks to all of those still out there.  I have always been diligent in my updates until Baby UnderStudy happened lol.  I love her dearly, but she has sucked the brain cells all out of mommy.  I am scheduled to have this little suggah momma on May 29th.  So, still there won't be any updates anytime soon.  I wish I could say the summer, but I don't know how things will go.

A Six Foot Request is still being worked on as well as some other stories.  All I want to do is sleep right now. LOL!  If you can bare with me, I promise to have tons of surprises come fall.  It's just that working full time, a toddler, and a newborn will be keeping me very busy.

Thanks for all your support!

****TEASER ALERT****
Perfectly Picked: The Swan Song
Chapter 2: Changing

What if Isabella would want this Edward over me? I had already lost a mate to death, but to lose another from being rejected would kill me more.

I pondered this line of thought for a few more seconds until I burst out in laughter, startling the changing Isabella in the process. She would not deny me. I am Marcus, son of Antero DelVichhio. My human blood may have been dead inside me, but it still burned strong within my soul with truth.

That's all you are getting.  If I give you any other part it will let go too much! LOL!  It will post on Monday evening.  Stay tuned.

Tattling Tuesday

It's that time again to blab to you about the heck I am doing.  LOL! Like you really care.  Well guess what.  Hold on to your britches, because you just may care about this one.

Perfectly Picked: The Swan Song
Chapter 1: Marcus’ Lament

That is the title of the next chapter to come to A Six Foot Request.  You are probably wondering why I said Chapter 1.  Well after 1200 words in, I knew this was going to be a long chapter.  Team Changed, as I have affectionately grown to call it, has turned out to be a bit of a multi-chapter.

Yes, yes you all can rejoice.  Right now I can only promise 5 more chapters.  Marcus got so chatty with this one that by the time I got to a good stopping point, I was well into 3700 words.  There is still so much more story to tell.  Well I am going to give it to ya TheUnderStudy style.  So who wants a sneak peek?  Oh you, in the back...sure.  Why the heck not. Now mind you, it is unbeta'ed, so sorry.

Demetri left my room and I head out the door in the opposite direction.  It was a wise decision to create my own entrance and exit to the castle.  That way I did not have to see Aro.  He never made his way to this side of the castle.  However he did send his lackies.  I smell one of his little rats now.

“Master Marcus, your presence is requested at feeding.  Master Aro grows tired of your absence,” Felix spoke.

Vampires are supposed to become smarter when changed.  His process seemed to have to have the adverse effect.  He thought his size was also intimidating.  I had been fighting a long time.

“Tell Aro that I drink alone tonight.  Tell him that I require solitude for this day of remembrance,” I spoke and continued my walk to the exit.

“Your mate has been dead some time.  Do you still need to grieve?”  He chuckled darkly.

I was on him quicker than he could dodge me.  My hand wrapped around his neck and I heard it crack in my grasp.  I could hear his head begin to detach from his shoulders as I pulled.  He growled and dug his nails into my hand.  I did not care.  I felt no pain from this weakling.

“Just because Aro has your balls in his pocket, doesn’t mean you can speak me any kind of way.  I am still your Master as well,” I growled at him, spitting venom.

I tossed him to the ground and he slid away.

“Master Aro will hear of this,” he gurgled.

“Tell him I will lay flowers on his sister’s grave since he tends to forget,” I yelled as I sauntered out of the castle.

*Swoon* Marcus, you are one hot vampire.  So the beta has it and the pre-readers.  I hope to post by Friday.  Then we will be on a two-week update schedule.  I wish I could do it sooner, but it's very busy at work and I gotta pay the bills.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I will be writing for this cause this year.  I cannot express to you the importance of this cause.  Many children are afflicted with this illness more than you think. Please donate or contribute to help bring awareness to this cause and to provide support for research.  You can find out more information on their blog:

I will be donating and contributing a new one shot to this cause.  I have my banner currently in the works by IllicitWriter.  Once she is done with her fabulousness, I will post it on over.  Here is a little bit of information on the story:

A Six Foot Request Follow Up - Team Changed

I know you all are just itching for the Team Changed alternative take to my Marcus/Bella one shot.  It is killing me.  LOL!  Marcus will not shut the hell up and he is pretty angry in this one.  Bella is not talking much because of the change, but oh boy when she wakes up... It seems like it is going to be as long as the original.  I feel sorry for abbymickey24 as she betas this chapter.  LOL!  So hopefully I can finish tonight and get it to her by tomorrow.  Then I can clean it up and post by late Tuesday or Wednesday.

I am not giving out any teasers at the moment, but I hope to once I clean it up a little bit.  Thanks for all your patient little hearts :)
